Modern Day She-ro!

On the last page of the May issue of Psychology Today is a shout out about Dr. Nadine Burke Harris and the "Reversal of Misfortune" she's seen in her pediatric practice, in one of the poorest neighborhoods in San Francisco. This woman is amazing! Identifying Adverse Childhood Experiences of the kids in her community, she and her colleagues are helping to change the course of young lives and reduce the risk of diseases that might otherwise develop later in life. You can check out her amazing TedTalk here.
